We ate dinner there before seeing a musical. Chris was our server. He was so entertaining and personable. The entire staff bent over backwards to be friendly and courteous. Top notch service. We ordered a steak, salad, side of corn and Sea Bass. They split everything for us. The food came out popping hot. We both agreed this was the best Sea Bass we have had! Everything was perfect! We will be back! Cocktails were delicious. Absolutely nothing negative at all. Well done.

Fabulous! Old school ambiance... Excellent service.... Outstanding food... I had the best skirt steak ever.., The wedge salad with lardons and blue cheese was mind blowing.... Pound cake with gelato and caramel was a delightful ending...

One of the best steaks I've ever had, we had a small group for my birthday in our first trip to Chicago. Ryan, our waiter, was incredible. The food, the service, the dessert were all top tier

My wife and I were attending a show close-by and picked Rosebud Steakhouse solely as a matter of convenience. My wife is picky so we usually frequent the same familiar spots but I'm happy to report that this "new to us" place was amazing. The space has tons of character, the service was top notch and the food was to die for. We shared the thick cut bacon, two salads, the dry aged NY strip and a piece of chocolate cake. Neither of us left hungry. The drinks were also on point in case that's important to you.

I haven't been out for a steak in some time so when I decided to have one I chose rosebud steakhouse downtown chicago. The atmosphere was perfect! My wife and I went early so it was relaxed and the waitstaff ( the staff in general really ) were attentive and great! My wife and I started off with a special menu item the fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzarella with hints of balsamic glaze! A classic but presented and prepared wonderfully! Next we had two sides. One a cauliflower au gratin that I could have eaten all by itself! Creamy, cauliflower cooked perfectly it was great! My wife had the Brussel sprouts. They were seasoned well and cooked again perfectly! Finally I had a 12 oz filet. I regularly commit the sin of having steak medium well. Sorry it's my wheelhouse, the steak was perfect! Switching between the sides and the steak really was amazing! No dessert this time but the desert menu looked fun! Rosebud is a trusted name so we expected a great meal but they really leveled up for this one! Five stars!

Service and food excellent. Attended too quickly and cocktails brought without much wait. Dining experience paced nicely without feeling rushed. Scallops were excellent with a little spice and the filet medallion special was really good and a nice sized portion. Water glass never empty. The space also has a very nice ambience whether it's date night or you are just eating with friends. I was sadly too full for dessert.

Great little Italian steakhouse just a few steps from the Drake. Easily found a seat at the bar and (Kevin?) was friendly and quick with a perfect old fashioned. I'm a steak and baked guy which is what I had cooked perfectly. Nice dinner spot.

Just returned after quite some time. Everything was perfect. The best it has ever been for us. Excellent fun service. The steaks (filets) were cooked exactly as requested. I understand why some feel the coating is too salty, but we loved it. The beef had great flavor. Drinks were excellent. Asparagus was properly cooked, and I am stupid for baked potatoes. Our server was amazing and fun.

Food and Service....outstanding! We were visiting Chicago for the weekend and were looking for a place to grab appetizers as we had a super late dinner planned. This place had early reservations and we ended up pretty much having the entire restaurant to ourselves. Our server was delightful. He spent lots of time chatting with us about the history of the restaurant and was just overall so friendly. We sat at a table that had a tribute to a long time regular, Mr. George Burrows. It was fun to learn the history of this patron. We had the Lobster GOT, the Fork & Knife Bacon and a side of Cauliflower Gratin and OMG....these dishes were riiiiiiiiiiich!. The Lobster pieces were nestled in butter, gooey cheese and herbs. The fork and knife bacon was huge! This slab of pork belly was tender and slathered in a smokey sweet sauce. The cauliflower was extra cheesy. This really was the perfect meal and dining experience. Food and service were top notch.
